Self-Service Password Reset (SSPR) Tool - Enrolling In and Using
Important Information
The self-service password reset (SSPR) tool is intended to be used when someone has forgotten their password or is locked out of their account.
If you have tried changing your password 2-3 times with the SSPR tool and it doesn't seem to be working feel free to submit a ticket with Service Desk and get help if the tool is not working for you. Please let us know that you have attempted to use the SSPR and the tool is not working.
After changing your password be sure to update it on any mobile devices you use to connect to iDevices or have access to your email on, instructions for that can be found in the Signing in after a password change article

If your computer is not on site after changing your password you will need to sync it by following the instructions in the Synchronizing your password article
https://support.fcgov.com/a/solutions/articles/19000079645?language=en
Note: Use of this tool requires that you enroll using a personal email account and you must enroll prior to your password expiration or lockout. If you have not Enrolled in (SSPR) and you are currently locked out you need to submit a ticket to the Service Desk for assistance.
Note: The City of Fort Collins uses passphrases rather than passwords to log in to our systems. See below on how to create a good passphrase
