Chrome Permissions Error
We are aware that some users are experiencing a Chrome Permissions Error when attempting to access local resources from certain websites.
Our team is currently investigating the cause of this issue.
In the meantime, you can try the steps below on your own system to help resolve the problem:
- In Google Chrome, click the three dots in the top right and select Settings.
- On the left side, click on Privacy and security.
- Click Site settings.
- Your site(s) should be listed under Recent activity. It will likely say Blocked local network access.
- Click the site.
- Click Reset permissions.
- On the Reset permissions? Pop-up, click Reset.
- Go back to your website.
- At the top of the screen, there may be a message asking you to reload, if so, click the Reload button. If there is, click it.
- There should now be a pop-up in the top left stating that your website wants to “Look for and connect to any device on your local network”. Click Allow.
- You should now have access to local resources from your website.
We’ll provide an update once a permanent fix is available. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
